Portland Shed is a non-profit volunteer organization providing resources to several charities for various construction projects including sleeping pods, tiny homes, furniture and handicap ramps. Portland Shed provides a place where volunteers can gather and spend a few hours working on various projects.
Portland Shed is an official chapter of Sleep In Heavenly Peace, a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. SHP is an organization that has grown steadily over time, working on opening more chapters in different states to serve more people. SHP-OR, Portland Metro was create to to further the mission that “no kid sleeps on the floor in our town!”
