Portland Shed was honored to receive the 2025 Outstanding Innovative Project Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter. We are being recognized for our collaboration with WeShine, building 10 sleeping for their St. Andrew’s Village community, the organization’s newest transitional shelter serving Portland-area adults experiencing homelessness. Thanks to our amazing volunteers who helped on this project and to PeaceHealth for presenting the award to Portland Shed.
Portland Shed Supports Community Warehouse
The Portland Shed is now building furniture for the Community Warehouse, a local non-profit whose mission is “to connect essential furnishings to neighbors in need through unique community partnerships, creating stronger home foundations and brighter futures for all”.
The Portland Shed is building some of the Community Warehouse’s most needed items: dining room tables, end tables and coffee tables. www.communitywarehouse.org
